I love working with duck cloth. It's not as heavy as denim and is just as durable. Duck also comes in about a million colors! And still, with all those choices, I find my clients tend to go with white more than anything else. To make it more interesting, this chair and ottoman have a blue and white gingham welting.
My signature buttons are also in the gingham.

That is a wonderful chair cover!!! great work!
I always find it amazing somebody (in this instance, you LOL) can make a slip cover for a wing chair.
It just seems overwhelming to me! - and I can sew LOL
Hi Tamerie... the slipcover is so very pretty, as all of yours are... wishing you a happy Spring! (I am officially calling it Spring now, regardless what the calendar or the weather says!)... xoxo Julie Marie
I agree, a slipcover for a wing chair is a daunting project. I always worry about the piping and bulk. Can this be done on a regular, non commercial sewing machine?
Boy, I wish you were local! You do such amazing work. I've made slipcovers before and hated every minute of it. I truley admire your work and the time it takes you to make these beautiful pieces.
Hi Tamerie,
Your slipcovers are beautiful. I was in a new shop over in Liberty Station today called Home. Is some of your work there? I could swear I recognized several pieces!
Clever Tamerie
Yes I think white is a good neutral base.. but if I was lucky enough to have covers made for me.. I think I'd like an alternate also.. in something less neutral .. just for a change... clever work following the lines of that chair.. xx Julie

A good quality duck is such a dream to work with. The gingham adds a nice touch.
Love the blue gingham accents. Another fabulous job my friend...but then they always are!
Happy hump day!
Hugs,
Karyn
