VERY HIGH HEELS!!!

Yesterday, Deb and I went up to Laguna Hills to see Beth Livesay at Stampington. What a cool place! Beth was kind enough to show me around the offices, as I had not been before. Boy did I see some cool stuff!
Including the shoes below.

Now those of you who know me know that I am a flip flop/sandal kind of person. I am also 5'10", so putting these shoes on made me about 7' tall. Okay, not that tall, but several inches over 6' for sure.
Beth Livesay and me in her office. Everywhere I looked, there was more to see: more altered clothes, more jewelry, more submissions, since yesterday was the deadline for a bunch of the magazines. I have never seen as much art outside of a museum.
Thanks Beth!

And don't forget my custom pillow giveaway. I will choose a winner tomorrow, so you still have time to enter your name.

that must have been a real exhibit! I'm envious.

LOL - I'm always surprised at the shoes women are willing to torture their feet into LOL

Oh how fun for you!! Don't you wish you could just stay......

I am into sewing now...I am thankful for doll making to bring me back to it.

Then I taught at Artfiberfest dolls and took classes with Ruth Rae..amazing..I learned pinafore makings...from her.

I was looking for my French Pinafore in the photo..it is going into the Belle Armoire in May I think? Did you see it..cream muslin with teal accents..and lace.

I would loved to have seen the cloths..I have been before but didn't look at the cloths..Jana from ADQ took me around.

WOW! Those shoes take me back to my youth when I would wear shoes as tall as that....now, it's flats, sandals, and thongs (flip-flops, I think you call them there) all the way. If I'm going to a special event, I will wear heels that are no higher than two inches.

I meant to add that you look great in them!

The shoes are very cool. I would wear them, it would put me over 5'6 at least! I am always pouting that I wish I were tall.

How lucky to visit the Stampington offices. My niece works for In Style magazine and one of these days...

Oh you lucky girl! How fun that you got to visit Stampington! Dearest friend, you were right around the corner from me....grrrrr!!!

Those are some pretty sexy shoes! I'm pretty tall myself and I tower over everyone when I where high heels. Like you, I much prefer my flip flops!

Glad you had a fun day!
