It is very hard (okay, you really cannot tell) to see the different patterns of matelasse in this slipcover. I did this from old bedspreads and table skirts my client had laying around, not being used. I think I used about 5 different patterns, but because it was all white, it worked beautifully.
And, most importantly, her cat really seemed to like 'her' new chair!

wow- I LOVE matelasse. I have had a few bedspreads over the years that I wish I had now. I really love the idea of using different patterns s well and white is always the best color for this great fabric:) Love to you my Friend.
Hi Tamerie... yes, I can see the lovely patterns in that, it is beautiful! Looks like kitty loves it too! Kitty kisses! xoxo Julie Marie
Remember the chaise lounge I wanted you to do (that had to be destroyed after all the drama at our house) anyway... that is what it looked like but I didnt know the name of the fabric (matelasse)... nonetheless, as always you rock and it looks great! You sure are busy!!

You are a miracle worker with fabric Tamerie! I would I could see this slipcover in person.
You do such nice work, Tamerie. Thanks for always sharing :o)
Beautiful, as always, and what a great way to use items that otherwise would just be kept in a drawer or closet.
Matelasse is one of my most favorite fabrics ever! This chair looks fantastic, not to mention comfy! I love the idea of an all white chair...it can morph into any room and can be accessorized in an instant! Big Hugs xOxO Nerina
Beautiful! I've often thought about purchasing a matelasse spread to make a slipcover. Maybe I will.
OH Clever girl!!
It looks great... I still have not bought myself a matelasse spread. Been meaning to for years. But reusing multiple pieces is such a terrific idea!!!
