RAINY DAYS AND ROSES

We are having a rainy week here in California, which, of course, we need. I leaned out my back door yesterday to get a shot of the pink sky at sunset.
I wondered if the rain would show up in the photo. Well, it did, but not in the way I thought it would. I guess you can figure out that the spots you see are actually rain drops.
And because it was raining, I sat the entire day and made roses from yellow linen. They look kind of orangy here, but they are really a light lemon yellow. I am going to be putting these on the backs of white denim slipcovers for folding chairs.

SO so pretty! I love this roses and slipcovers. I need to buy sooooon!
We have an extra person here to eat often and they would make my sad little World market chairs pretty.
Thanks for being such a positive ray of light Missie-I just love seeing what you are up too. Sunset id gorgeous, and I type this from the Nor Cal version of the monsoon.
Love to you Sweetie.

Your roses are so pretty - sometimes handmade roses look, well, rather bedraggled LOL - but your's are just lovely.

How nice to have a colorful sunset! Here on the Atlantic we've seen nothing but white and ice-blue skies for weeks.

It makes you feel cold just to look at them!

Your roses are gorgeous sweet friend and will be the perfect addition to your slipcovers.

The sunset is so pretty. I do miss the sunsets out west; not quite the same here in Florida.

Can't wait to see the roses on your slipcovers.

Tamerie, the flowers are beautiful enough for a fine bouquet. So, so pretty! I love how you are placing them at the back of your slipcovers. What a nice touch.
