HIBISCUS











I love the variety of hibiscus that exist: fancy, plain, ruffled, variegated. And the colors! I find them all just beautiful.
I took most of these pictures in and around Coronado/San Diego. Some, I shot in Hawaii. The first 2 images, which I think are the most spectacular and amazing, I actually 'borrowed' from a hibiscus web site. The hibiscus in my backyard has yellowish-orange blossoms. I, of course, wish it was a pink one.

Hibiscus is truly a delightful and pleasing flower!! All of these are so scrumptious, I wish we could grow them here to bloom so lovely,other than a greenhouse!!
Crazy about the Movie night mention on the same day as my post....small world. We used to do these alot when the kids were small, invite all of the neighbourhood so no one would complain about the sound....good times!!

OOOOH! I love them all! So beautiful! My parents have a place in Palm Springs with lovely lovely Hibiscus all around- yellow like yours. Dreamy! Love to you!!
